Overview
opticbiolab delivers high-caliber analytical and testing support for R&D teams. We specialize in mass spectrometry method development for drugs, metabolites, and diagnostic markers. Because MS works well with limited material, it is especially useful for scarce or difficult-to-obtain samples. Our scientists can help design experiments and assays—and stay engaged with feedback as testing progresses.
Method Development
Our method development covers small molecules and metabolites, new chemical entities, therapeutic drug monitoring, peptides, and analytes that fall outside standard diagnostic menus. We accept most sample types—from cell culture and animal material to human study specimens—and can validate assays for research use or under GLP requirements.

Range of Services
Whether you need a custom mass spectrometry method or testing from our established menu, we can help. We handle sample formats spanning tissue culture, animal studies, and human research, and can develop and validate assays to support new diagnostic applications.
Collaborations
We welcome collaboration on discovery programs, novel diagnostics, companion diagnostic work, and translational R&D—including joint grant and SBIR/STTR efforts. For SBIR/STTR opportunities, we focus on new testing approaches and companion diagnostics with clear potential in medical and veterinary markets.
Animal Studies Support
We support animal study analytics for established drugs and NCEs, their metabolites, drug monitoring panels, and metabolic markers. Mass spectrometry enables small sample volumes while preserving accuracy, often reaching low pg/ml sensitivity. Pharmacokinetic and related data analysis are available as needed.
